What is Oligio RF?

“Oligio” means lifting up in Korean. Oligio RF is a monopolar radiofrequency device developed by WonTech, Korea, designed for non-surgical skin tightening and lifting without downtime.

Oligio RF operates at 6.78MHz and delivers RF energy through a GXG dual-mode system — targeting both the dermal layer and the deeper fat structures beneath for a three-dimensional treatment effect. Yes. The Oligio X Body Tip (16 cm²) enables treatment of larger surface areas including the neck, upper arms, abdomen, and thighs. This tip is not available on the original Oligio RF device. Please raise your interest in body areas during your consultation so the doctor can assess suitability.

Oligio X uses monopolar radiofrequency (RF) energy to target the dermal and sub-dermal layers (approximately 1–4mm depth), stimulating collagen remodelling and tightening the skin layer. Ultherapy PRIME uses micro-focused ultrasound with visualisation (MFU-V) to target the SMAS layer — a deeper facial support structure at approximately 4.5mm — the same layer addressed in a surgical facelift. Because the two technologies work at different anatomical depths, they are not in direct competition. A combined protocol may be appropriate for patients with more significant skin laxity, or those seeking both surface skin tightening and deeper structural lifting.
